Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and
came to the sepulchre.
4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did
outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
It was only about 2 or 3 days since Peter had denied
the Lord and yet John allowed him to work alongside with
him. John didn't reject him because of his blunder. They
ran both together. We shouldn't be hard on people who
make mistakes, we all do and God does not hold it
against us.

John 20
1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene
early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and
seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to
the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto
them, They have taken away the Lord out of the
sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him
From these verses we can see that Mary Magdalene just
"supposed" that they had taken the Lord. It was just
based upon assumption. We need to be careful not to
speak out on things just upon assumption. "a lie
would run around the world whilst truth was still
putting on its shoes"

John 19
38 And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple
of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought
Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and
Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the
body of Jesus.
39 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first
came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh
and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.
Here we read of Joseph of Arimathaea and we do not read
of him again. This is also the third and last time we
read of Nicodemus (John 3, John 7:50). They both seem to
be timid and God can still use timid people just the
same as others. He gave them courage just when they were
needed, they filled the gap that no one else could. We
also see two men that could work together, Nicodemus a
Pharisee who was very educated would work alongside
Joseph? It's nice to see when brethern (and sisters) can
work together.

Exodus
13: 21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar
of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a
pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and
night:
Exodus
40: 34 ¶ Then a cloud covered the tent of the
congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the
tabernacle.
1 Kings 8: 10 And it came to pass,
when the priests were come out of the holy place, that
the cloud filled the house of the LORD,
Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be
without covetousness; and be content with such things as
ye have: for he hath said, I will
never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
While the Israelites walked through the
wilderness there were times when they felt alone and
forsaken. That no one was there to help them, yet We can
read in Exodus 13, that as they journed through the
wilderness there was always that pillar of cloud. God’s
presence was always there with them guiding them every
step of the way.
We can see even in chapter 40 how when
the tabernacle was built his presence could be found in
it, or once the temple was built God’s presence was
found there as well.
But where is God today? Where is His
presence – where is He when we need Him? According to
Hebrews 13, God is right here with us, because He will
never leave us nor will He forsake us.
So next time you feel down or discouraged
and everything is against you, just reach out like Peter
could do that day when he was sinking in the water, and
your Saviour will be there to take you by the hand.

Then
I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look
again toward thy holy temple. Jonah 2: 4
Luke
15: 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say
unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and
before thee,
19
And
am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one
of thy hired servants….
22 But the father
said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put
it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his
feet:
23 And bring hither
the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be
merry:
24
For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was
lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
The scriptures you have
above speak about two different men who both had the
same problem.
The first place is Jonah.
Jonah was a man that feared God but one day in his life
he made a decision that changed him. He decided He would
not listen to God. Jonah rebelled and tried to run away
from God, but once he was swallowed by a large fish he
realized his condition. He realized he had sinned and
needed forgiveness. As you can see in this verse he
“looked again” to the things of the Lord. Jonah was
restored back to God and did great things for his
Saviour.
Now look at this second
man. A son one day decided he would run away and leave
the protection of his family. All was going well until
the son’s money was gone and he realized the harshness
of life. The son was humbled as he realized what he had
done and he longed to come back to his father even as a
servant. But look how happy the father was when his son
returned. He welcomed him with open arms.
This is so much like each
one of us. How easily we can get away from God and do
our own thing. Perhaps there may be even some that have
forsaken the assembly. We are all like Jonah and the man
in Luke 15. We can all get away and cold but God is
waiting for us to come back. Jonah realized this and the
son realized it and what joy it brought them when hey
returned to where they belonged.
Remember the parable in
Luke 15 of the shepherd that went into the wilderness
seeking the one lamb that went astray? This is a picture
of our Saviour. He cares for us so very much. He wants
us to be constantly with Him, and if we happen to get
away and want to get back He will gladly (like the
shepherd could carry the sheep on his shoulder) carry us
on His shoulder.
De 33:27 The eternal God
is thy refuge, and underneath are the
everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from
before thee;

Mt 27:32 And as they came out, they
found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled
to bear his cross.
1 Cor. 12: 23 And those members of the body, which we
think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more
abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more
abundant comeliness.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath
tempered the body together, having given more abundant
honour to that part which lacked:
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that
the members should have the same care one for another.
Jas 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray
one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual
fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
As Christ could walk to the place where He was to be
crucified with His body bruised and beaten at the hands
of man, the people could pick Simon of Cyrene out of the
crowd to carry the weight of the cross for the Lord.
So many times we can look upon other christians and see
that the cross they are carrying seems too much for them
at the time.
What are we doing about it? In 1 Cor. 12:25 it says we
should have the same care one for another; and in James
it says that we ought to pray one for another.
So perhaps starting today as we look upon our fellow
Christians, let us not forget that once in awhile they
may need help as well to carry their cross.

Looking unto Jesus the author
and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set
before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and
is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2
It is a daily joy to know that we have put our trust in
the one who saves eternally. Our trust in one who is the
author and finisher of our faith.
One as we can see who was willing to endure the cross.
He the Lord Jesus Christ was willing to go to the cross,
He was willing to die for our sins. He took our
punishment so we would never have to be in the awful
place called hell, and He is now sitting on the right
hand of the throne of God. He completed the work.
And He said to them all, If any
man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take
up his cross daily and follow me.
Luke 9:23
But now look at Luke 9:23. He is now asking us to take
up the cross and follow Him. What exactly does that
mean?
The cross is known to be a picture of death and
separation. Our Saviour bore the cross for us. He now
asks us to deny the world to live for Him. To bear our
own cross, to as it were die to the world and the things
of the world. And if you notice the verse He is asking
for it on a daily basis. Are we serving Him on a daily
basis?
An Irish man one time went to Florida to visit some
family down there, He had never fished before in his
life, but that night his family decided to go fishing.
They all climbed into a boat and headed out into the
bay. After reaching the middle of the bay, the boat
stopped and all the men pulled out fishing roads. The
Irish man took his fishing road and attempted to cast it
into the water. His family and friends, ones who were
experienced fishermen laughed at the man and at his lack
of ability to cast a line. After some laughter and
lessons the Irish man finally cast his line into the
water along with the other ones.
Not long after the line was cast, the Irish man felt a
tug on his line, excited he hauled a large fish up out
of the water. Later into the night, The group of men
packed up their rods and headed back for home,
concluding a trip of having only caught one fish....that
one fish was caught by the one man that no one expected
to catch one. The most inexperienced of the bunch.
The reason for telling that story is for this. Some
historians say that it is impossible for a human man to
carry the full weight of a cross, and that the
executioner would make the man only carry part of it.
Our Saviour realizes we are humans. He is asking us to
take up our cross but He is not asking us to bear more
then we can handle. He has given a different job for us
all.
A young person may feel they are not as good as an older
person. And an old person may feel they're too old now
to do anything for the Lord. But look at the Irish man.
He was the most inexperienced fisherman in the bunch. He
felt he couldn't do anything, yet he was the only one
that brought a fish home that day.
Let us not question God about our ability. He has a work
planned for us and let us be willing to try and get our
line cast out into the water and wait for for a pull.
When God sees we're willing to bear our cross for Him.
He will be there to help, and surely blessings will
flow.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the
days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the
LORD forever.

Saved From Destruction
Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble,
and he saveth them out of their distresses. He
sent his word, and healed them, and delivered
them from their destructions. Psalm 107:19,20
Does not these two verses remind you of the day
when you were without a Saviour lost and heading
for hell? I know that is what I think about. You
see I can never thank God enough for what He has
done for me so with trials that may come in our
lifes let us thank Him for them for they teach
us something and draw us closer to Him being
able to fully put our trust in the true God our
Saviour. So as things are going on in this world
and in our own worlds at home let us remember
that the one that saved us from eternal
destruction is the same on that is watching over
us through this time

Great Things
God thundereth marvellously with his voice;
great things doeth he, which we cannot
comprehend.
Job 37:5
How true this verse is. I am not going to say
much about it. For if you read this verse and
ones around it it is very good. God the one who
created the earth. Who can hold the sun in
place. Who saved a world from sin can also save
us from unncessary trials. So let us not worry
for He does great work and we will be with Him
some day.

Peace
And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in
the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be
unto you, Luke 24:36
I would like to start by explaining this first
from the end to the beginning. We understand
with the proclamation of war that it makes us
all a bit uneasy. But if we could realize what
the Lord is saying here "Peace". We can see so
many hymns that are telling us to put our trust
in the Saviour. Songs like "Leaning on the
Everlasting Arms" "My rest is in heaven, my rest
is not here", "What a Friend we have in Jesus".
The list could go on. The Lord tells us in many
places to simpy put our trust in Him. So the
next part of the verse, the beginning I would
like to notice He stood in the midst of them.
You see for us He tells us to have peace and
then what? He will stand in the midst of us. He
is coming to take us home to be with Him for all
eternity. So He tells us to have peace and trust
Him now for soon He will come to take us home.
It may be even today.

Protected by the Mighty One
No weapon that is formed against thee shall
prosper; and every tongue that shal rise against
thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. This is
the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and
their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
Isaiah 54:17
Due with the rumour of wars going on I thought
perhaps taking this verse from God's Word and
giving it to you may help you as you go about
today. We feel on edge at times and nervous
wondering what the next step will be. Well I
would like to tell you and tell me also that we
should not be worrying. Ofcourse it is human
nature for us to worry. But this verse tells us
that anything that is used against us will not
win. For you see our souls are saved and longing
to be with our Saviour. So remember He's
watching over us and what happens is His will
and all glory belongs to Him

Christ Shall Be Glorified
Romans 11:4 But what saith the answer of God
unto him? I have reserved to myself seven
thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the
image of Baal.
Are you familiar with the story of Elijah. There
was times when he felt that he was alone. That
all had turned against God and he had no one.
But God could tell him there were many who were
still serving the true and living God. So if you
ever feel down and depressed with all thats
going on in the world. Do not forget that.
Christ has many of His own in this world. We can
even think of the New York accident. Just before
the buildings were to fall a man emailed his
nine year old son and said something along these
lines. I am ready to go to meet my Maker and my
greatest desire is to meet you in heaven. Is it
not great and brings joy over you to know that
through all the terrors there was a man calmly
relying on His Saviour and as the planes could
hit the building He was worried over his sons
eternal state. It is a joy to know that God
works in mysterious ways in many places and if
you feel you are the only one serving the
Saviour remember there are many other labourers
quietly going on. But what is even greater is
that we have the Saviour watching over us from
day to day.

Unseperable from His love
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love
of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or
persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril,
or sword? 38 For I am persuaded, that neither
death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to
come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall be able to separate us from the
love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We know that from the attacks on New York that
there are rumours of war and the USA say there
will be war. But let us not forget that no
matter what does happen we will not be separated
from Christ but only drawn closer. Paul could
say in Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is
Christ, and to die is gain. Let us not forget
those words for nothing can separate us from God
so as the fighting begins if the Lord does not
come let us remember that there is one greater
then all watching over us. So what do we have to
worry about? Let us put our faith in the true
God, our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ.

Authority
1 Timothy Chapter 1 I exhort therefore, that,
first of all, supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for
all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in
authority; that we may lead a quiet and
peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
As we can see here God wants us to pray for the
ones that are in authoriy that they may be
guided right. What more time then now do they
need our prayers as they try to track down the
terriorist that struck their country. Pray that
President Bush may have a meekness about him so
that he handles the situation properly. So as
Christians we have a priviledge to do and that
is pray for the preservation and salvation of
our world leaders. So I ask you "Are you praying
for God's help in this great trial?" So as we go
to sleep tonight if the Lord be not come or as
we go about doing our daily things let us ask
God for His guidance over the serious matters
that are happening in the world.

He Is Our Light
Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my
salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the
strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Do you feel somewhat dismayed over the tragic
news the Americans are facing? It seems to get
us all depressed and we think "What if it had of
been one of our family?" But isn't it nice to
know and a comfort that we have a Saviour who
cares? He is our light to guide is during dark
trials. He is our salvation for eternity. He
also is our strength to help us in times of
need. So let us not worry we have a Saviour who
loves us and provides for us all that we need to
serve and live for Him
-------------------------

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily,
I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
When we read this verse do we take grasp of what
this verse is saying? It is telling us that it
was Jesus who set the sun and stars in their
place. It was Him who delievered the people from
the Egyptians, it was Him who caused the flood,
Him who helped David, Joshua and many others
during battle and it was He who died on the
cross for our sins. It was also the same being
who saved you and I from a lost eternity. So I
simply ask you. "What can't He Do?" The answer.
He can do everything and anything, so why do we
worry? Well one good reason is that we forget
what God can do. So from now on let us lean on
Him. The one who loves us and why does He love
us? Cause He loves us. That's the best we can
answer. So let us look up to Him for He's
watching us and as He was close enough to catch
Peter when He began to sink in the water. He's
close enough to hold us up too.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way the truth and
the life.
John 14:6
We know that we use this verse in gospel
meetings to reach the lost. But let's look at
this verse for a minute. We of course can relate
it to each on of our lifes when we put our trust
in the Saviour. But what about our daily lives
as Christians when we get down and discouraged
where do we turn to? A lot will turn to some
worldy book, or some doctor to help certain
problems. Well what about turning to the Lord?
Should not we be doing more of that. For He IS
the way. So let us lean on our Saviour putting
all our trust on Him for He can deliver us.

Luke 24: 38 And he said unto them, Why are ye
troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your
hearts? 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it
is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit
hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
These verses can still fit for us today. How
often do we get troubled and worried and don't
seem to know what to do? Remember what the Lord
said to His disciples. "Behold my hands and
feet" They were worried but why should they be?
The Saviour was living. Our Saviour is still
living yet today. He wanted them to handle Him
to prove to them that He was not a spirit but
was truly alive. That is even like us today. How
often are we picking the Bible up for the same
reason to get something out of it, for God our
Saviour to reveal Himself in it?
So next time you get worried remember what the
Lord could say, draw close to Him and He will
draw close to you.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psalm
23:1
What a sweet verse this is but how often do we
actually listen to what the verse is saying? A
shepherd watches over his flock with love and
care. Who can show more love and care then our
Saviour? And we will not want anything while
here on earth. Are you saying; "well at times we
are without something in the house" let me ask
you a question: Could it because you are not
taking grasp of this verse and trusing Christ? I
believe that may be our problem. So as you rush
on today with your work remember Christ is our
shepherd He is also waiting to help when help is
needed.

2 Peter 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of
his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep,
all things continue as they were from the
beginning of the creation.
Let me ask you a question, do you believe in
God's promises? God has promised us that He
would come and return to take us to be with Him
for all eternity. People doubt God's existanc or
that He should come like this.
Let us remember even that Christ will take us
home to be with Him for all eterniy. It is as if
we are coverd by a cloud os sin but thank God
that someday the clouds of sin will part and
then we shall see our Saviour face to face.

Psalms 101:2 I will behave myself wisely in a
perfect way...
I would like to label this verse something the:
Christians verse. Do you ask why I call it this
verse? Because this is how a Christian should
act. Can we do what this verse says? Can we
behave ourselves wisely? Can we in a perfect
way.
We as Christians are being watched daily by the
critics, skeptics, atheists, etc. Waiting to
find fault in us. So perhaps we should start
following the Bible. The book we so firmly
believe in and we should start behaving
ourselves wisely and in a perfect way. Not only
in the public places but also in our homes and
at work. For it the skeptics or anyone else isnt
watching then we know that God is watching us.
So this may be a short devotion but thats all I
need to get the point across that I want to get
across:
I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way

Hebrews 6:13 For when God made promise to
Abraham, because he could swear by no greater,
he sware by himself,
Look at this verse. Is it not nice? When God
promised Abraham. He could give His word. He
could tell Abraham to rely on Him for there was
no greater then Him to rely on. What about us?
Who are we relying on. We are all guilty
including me that when we have trials or
temptations that we go to someone to talk to. Do
we forget about God? If we pray do we realize
the power God has? So today as trials,
temptations and prayers come forth let us
remember, there is no greater. So let us put our
complete confidence in our Saviour and He will
se us through it all what ever it may be that we
are facing in our lives.

2 Chronicles 6:39 Then hear thou from the
heavens, even from thy dwelling place, their
prayer and their supplications, and maintain
their cause, and forgive thy people which have
sinned against thee.
Is there something you have been praying for?
Perhaps a loved one that is not saved. Or maybe
a series of meetings going on and you would love
to see blessings. Well Let us pray that He will
maintain our cause and His hand may reach down
in blessing and answer the prayers that are upon
your heart. But you notice something in this
verse. At the very end it asks for forgiveness
of sins. Are we doing that. If you notice
scripture, before God answered prayers the
persons life had to be right before Him. Are we
living right before God? Do you realize the
blessings we are missing for not putting our
trust fully in God and living for Him? So let us
start today to live for our Saviour. For He will
hear from the heavens from thy dwelling place
and the God that burned the wet altar up during
Elijahs time. The one that spoke and all things
came into existence. The ones that make the
mountains shake etcis the same one that can
answer your prayers. He longs for you to ask Him
and He loves to answer the prayers of His own.
So today let us pray unto our Saviour who can do
all things.

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your
hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to
every man that asketh you a reason of the hope
that is in you with meekness and fear:
I have a question to ask you -- Are we lazy? I
can answer for myself. Yes I am very lazy when
it comes to spreading the gospel of our Saviour.
Are we always ready as God tells us to be? There
are people in other countries who are not as
priveledged as us that are more dedicated to
their Saviour then we are. They long to be in
fellowship and long and will go out of their
ways to tell others of their need of a Saviour.
What are we doing? Do we go out of our ways to
tell others about our Saviour. Or have just got
lazy? Can we answer questions and tell others or
are we doing the very minimal that we can get by
on and if a little conflict arises do we back
off? I believe that we do. So perhaps we should
start living for God. We need the courage and
determination. But what we really need is to
love God and if we love God we'll want and love
to do His will. So let us stop being lazy and
let's go out and do the Saviour's work. Tell
others of their needs. Let us leap with joy in
what we have entered into -- Eternal Salvation

Job 42:
1 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and
that no thought can be withholden from thee.
3 Who is he that hideth counsel without
knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I
understood not; things too wonderful for me,
which I knew not.
4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will
demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the
ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust
and ashes.
The point of all of Gods questions was not lost
on Job: he has a NEW AWARENESS OF THE WISDOM OF
GODS HIDDEN PLANS, a NEW SENSE OF HIS OWN
WISDOM, and a NEW SENSITIVITY TO HIS OWN SIN. He
admits that his has been a limited perspective,
and he TOTALLY SUBMITS to GODS WILL and
AUTHORITY.
n From the Nelson Study Bible
Let me ask you something. Is this like you and
me? Are we aware of Gods wisdom? Of His Hidden
plans; do we fully understand His great power?
For His great power answers our prayers. Do we
realize our own wisdom? I dont think we can
unless we realize the next part also our
sensitivity to our sin. If we realize this we
will not let our wisdom get the best of us. That
will keep us humble. But wise in Gods Word. But
finally the last one; have we dont this? Have we
totally allowed Gods will to run our lifes? Are
we willing to submit to Gods authority. I
believe if were honest with ourselves. We can
see we arent but let us be more like we aught to
be. For if we realize what Job realized wed
shine like lights in this dark world, and like
an uncle of mine could say. We are the bibles
that the unsaved read So let us live for HimOur
Saviour.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your
adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh
about, seeking whom he may devour:
I am sure that we are all aware that Satan is
constantly attacking the Christians that live
for God. So what are we doing about it? Are we
staying close to God, are we reading His word
and praying for His guidance everyday? We can
see in verse 7 that God wants us to cast all
care upon Him. We can think of how when Job was
tempted of the devil that He remained faithful,
even with all the criticism. We can also see
when Peter was asked about the Saviour while He
stood and watched He could curse. So which one
are we? Are we close to God or do we pretend we
are but when trials come we show how little we
put our confidence in our Saviour. Peter was
sorry He wept bitterly for what he done. He
became a great preacher for God. So let us be
faithful let us not be moved for we are leaning
on the everlasting arms, resting upon the rock.

Psalms 111:9 He sent redemption unto his people:
he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy
and reverend is his name.
Who is this speaking about? This is speaking
about our glorious Saviour. He sent redemption
(His Son) something that we did not deserve. We
can thank Him for what He has done but let us
not forget that He is holy and reverend. He is
the only one that should be called reverend.
There are many people who doubt His Word saying
you cannot rely on it. Isnt it nice to know that
we can rely in it, there is not one
contradiction in Gods Word. We can fully rely on
it. For what does it say? Christ died for our
sins. So let us not forget whom we put our trust
in. The most holy and reverend, the one that
sent redemption for us.

1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 For the Lord himself
shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the trump of
God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to
meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever
be with the Lord.
We Christians know that these verses mean when
our Saviour will return to take His church to be
with Him for all eternity. There are people who
try to tell us otherwise, but we can thank God
everyday that He has promised us that He would
return for us to take us to be with Him. Is it
not nice to know that soon, we shall see the
clouds part and see our Saviour . Let us each
day look forward to the coming of our Saviour.
For what a day that will be when our Saviour we
shall see.

Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save
them to the uttermost that come unto God by him,
seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for
them.
We know how in the old testament how the Priest
was offering sacrifices for the people for their
sins. but we can thank God for sending His son
to make intercession for us -- He took our place
so we would never have to go to hell. And how we
can say that we are saved to the uttermost.
Let us not worry when trials draw near. Let us
not worry when death knocks at our door. For we
can think of the words sung by the Christian
group called "The Speer Family"
"I can tell of the story when the thousands were
fed...raised up the dead. I can tell of the
others like the blind man to see but I'd rather
tell you what's happened to me......I"M SAVED TO
THE UTTERMOST...I KNOW THAT I AM...WASHED IN THE
BLOOD OF THE PRECIOUS LAMB..."

Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people,
Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation
of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day:
for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye
shall see them again no more for ever.
Job 37:14 Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still,
and consider the wondrous works of God.
Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am
God:...
Isaiah 43:12 I have declared, and have
saved,....therefore ye are my witnesses, saith
the LORD, that I am God.
Do you see a pattern here? We can see when Moses
was being used by God to deliver His people from
Egypt when God was about to part the red sea
that Moses could tell the people to "Stand
still" Why did he want them to stand still? To
see the salvation of the LORD. We can see also
how Job is told to stand still and consider the
wondrous works of God. We are told to stand
still and know that we have trusted in the true
God. For He is not a god or anything less He
says "I AM GOD"
Is there something in your life that is
bothering you? Are you praying for a member of
your family to be reached in saved? Is there any
doubts in your mind over something? Are there
trials and temptations in your life? Why not
take a moment and read these verses over again.
Look at the last verse given God has saved you,
you are a witness to His great power, for He
saved your soul from hell. Then what a beautiful
way the LORD ends it "I am God." Do not worry
about the trial in your life. Take amount be
still think about those wondrous words God has
given thee and the mighty power that is behind
them: "I Am God"
Psalms 56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust
in thee.
Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will
trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH
is my strength and my song; he also is become my
salvation.

Proverbs 23:9 Speak not in the ears of a fool:
for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.
Are you often confronted by people who do not
believe in the Bible. Or do not believe in God?
Do they often question you about God's Word?
There are some people who are willing to listen
and learn there are others who want to dispute.
How are you -- how are we treating God's Word.
You usually it seems correct me if I'm wrong be
able to tell who is truly interested in God's
Word. So let us the Word wisely let us not abuse
it for we can speak in the ears of fools and
they will just despise our words. So let us live
in the light of God let us speak to ones that
are truly interested in learning more -- in
being saved. Let us have all glory to the Lord
God our Saviour.
